Smooth laging for conveyor pulleys

A protective rubber lagging for conveyor drum pulleys

With a thickness of 3 to 10 mm, smooth rubber lagging is generally used for drums that do not drive the belt, i.e. tail or return drums. This type of lagging extends drum pulley life and reduces clogging.

Different types of smooth laggings

To suit every application, there are several types of rubber quality:

  • Anti-abrasive: long-lasting and highly resistant.
  • White nitrile: FDA and EU 1935/2004 compliant.
  • Anti-clogging 45 Shores: used on bend pulley or snub pulley which are in contact with the dirty strand of the conveyor belt (in contact with the conveyed product).
