A lagging forvery strong adhesion of the pulley to the belt

The ceramic lagging is extremely effective in wet or muddy environments, where slippage on the conveyor belt is sometimes observed. Ceramic inserts increase grip and friction between the head pulley and the belt, while offering very high abrasion resistance.

Different ceramic laggings for different applications

Square ceramics

For heavy-duty applications thanks to their 15mm thickness, which withstands high stresses and strains. By increasing the coefficient of adhesion, ceramics reduce slippage between the belt and the conveyor drum.

2 rubber grades for square ceramics :

  • Anti-abrasive: this coating for conveyor pulleys is highly resistant and long-lasting.
  • ISO 284/340: for ATEX applications, this lagging features antistatic and self-extinguishing properties.
